Visualizers
Visualizers convert laser radiation into visible light in a wide spectral range and control the beam path for safe operation with the laser. Due to the polymer base, PhotonTechSystem's visualizers have high mechanical characteristics and high water resistance. Different variations of visualizers allow you to choose the best option for solving various tasks. We can also make custom visualizers.

Features:
- High moisture resistance and high mechanical characteristics;
- High spectral sensitivity;
- Custom sizes are available.
«PhotonTechSystem» LLC has produced more than 70 models of visualizers for solving various tasks when working with ultraviolet, visible and infrared (near and middle range) lasers with wavelengths of 0.25-13+ µm. Visualizers are made of 6 types of materials (UV, IR1, IR2, IR3, IR4, IR5). These materials are differed by principle of operation, spectral range of operation, sensitivity, damage threshold, luminescence spectrum.The detailed characteristics of these materials are shown in Table 1.

Materials UV, IR1, IR2, IR4 are made from a polymer base. The polymer base enables the production of visualizers, which are working on the reflection and transmission. These visualizers are moisture resistant and more resistant to mechanical damage due to their polymer base. They can be used in a variety of environmental conditions. Visualizers with active zone from 2.5x2.5 cm to 70x70 cm are produced on the basis of UV, IR1, IR2, IR4 materials.

The IR3 material is a ceramic disc. Visualizers based on this material are differed by high damage threshold. They can be used for working with high power lasers.

The active detection area of liquid crystal visualizers IR5 is a thin film from thermochromic liquid crystals. These thermochromic liquid crystals are sensitive to temperature.The visualization of the radiation is due to the change in color of the film. The color of the film is changed as results temperature rise of film when exposed to laser radiation of mid-infrared spectral range. These visualizers are intended for lasers of spectral range 1.5-13+ µm.

Features of visualizers:
– Wide spectral range of 0.25 - 2.1 µm (ability to visualize the emission of most commercial lasers);
– High moisture resistance and high mechanical properties;
–High spectral sensitivity;
–Ability to work with high-power lasers;
–Wide range of models for specific applications.

Materials are used in the manufacture of visualizers do not contain radioactive substances and are not toxic. They can be used for working with laser radiation of high-power density.
